The 2017 Mazda6 Adds Exciting Features at an Affordable Price

Discover all this family sedan has to offer

The Mazda6 has continued to win fans since it was first released with its upscale interior and fun-to-drive handling dynamics. The 2017 model proves to be no exception, and it will be arriving at Heritage Mazda Bel Air, Catonsville & Towson soon.

The Sport trim denotes the starting model in the 2017 Mazda6 lineup and comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, push-button start, backup camera, and MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system, which includes Bluetooth® capabilities, USB pairing, and other easy-to-use controls on a 7-inch display. Also standard on the 2017 model is the inclusion of Mazda’s exclusive G-Vectoring Control technology and upgraded sound absorption in the cabin.

Selecting the Mazda6 Touring trim gives drivers additional standard features, including leatherette seating, dual-zone climate control, rear vents, Blind Spot Monitoring System, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and keyless entry. Upgrade to an 11-speaker BOSE® sound system, power moonroof, SiriusXM® satellite radio, Adaptive Front Lighting, and heated seats, with many more options available for customization.

If you’re looking for the top-of-the-line model, the Mazda6 Grand Touring is for you. Standard features include navigation, perforated leather-trimmed seats, an Active Driving Display head-up unit, paddle shifters, Mazda Radar Cruise Control, and Smart City Brake Support. Top off the sporty look with LED foglights, a signature lighted grille, dark alloy wheels, and rear spoiler. Other standard safety features include Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Control, and Active Driving Display.

With so many exciting features, it’s easy to get caught up in the look and feel of the Mazda6, but engineers didn’t forget to provide you with plenty of power by including the SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter engine that’s good for 184 horsepower.

After day-dreaming about all of its athletic features, we almost forgot that it’s still a family sedan (and that it’s aiming to top the Car and Driver ranking for its segment, again), and with a starting MSRP of $21,945,* it’s also an affordable option for families and driving-enthusiasts alike.
