Heritage Donates Vehicle to Founder of Baltimore Ceasefire

On February 6, Erricka Bridgeford, founder of Baltimore Ceasefire 365 and 2017’s Marylander of the Year by The Baltimore Sun, was gifted a 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan by Heritage, part of the MileOne Autogroup, to continue her anti-violence movement in Baltimore City.

On January 14, Erricka shared a heartfelt Facebook post about her financial difficulties and the stress associated with the unknown of being able to continue her mission without reliable transportation, as her third vehicle in two years was on its last leg. Erricka’s Facebook post received an abundance of support, including the creation of a GoFundMe campaign, which quickly raised over $12,000.

Steve Fader, CEO of MileOne Autogroup, learned of her incredible efforts, and with the support of the Heritage division decided to gift Erricka a vehicle, thereby alleviating her financial stress by allowing her to use the funds raised from the GoFundMe campaign to further the efforts of Baltimore Ceasefire.

At the vehicle ceremony at Motor House in Baltimore City, Erricka was beaming with excitement, energy, and gratitude as Steve Fader, Scott Fader and Mayor Catherine Pugh presented her with the Volkswagen Tiguan.

Thank you Erricka for all of the positivity you are bringing to the community. Heritage is honored to contribute to the Ceasefire movement in Baltimore. We care about the community because it’s our community too.
